Video Shoot Day

We had a blast filming some testimonial videos today.  Bradley Peck turned our office into a studio. We were so impressed with how the set up looked that we don’t even care what the finished product turns out like. (Slightly kidding.)  Check out some of Bradley’s work here: http://vimeo.com/bradleypeck

We had some really cool folks stop by to talk about their experience of working with Van & The Team.

We were thrilled to start our day with a visit from Mrs. Georgia United States 2013 (@TheMrsGeorgiaUS), Sandra Cauley.  Her and her husband have been clients since right after they got married.  Sandra will be representing the state of Georgia in Las Vegas later this year and we are so excited to be a part of her reign and helping her raise awareness for Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome. Oh…and her husband’s name is Chris.

HA! Okay, okay, her husband should garnish a little more love than a mere mention.  Our buddy Chris Cauley has made quite a name for himself as well.  You may remember him from his appearance on NBC’s The Voice.  He’s is Forsyth County’s own and we can’t wait for y’all to hear some of his new music that’ll be coming out soon.  Not soon enough, but soon. Check out Chris’ YouTube page.

One of our coolest client’s stopped by as well.  Her street name is “The O.B.”!  Kinda like “The O.G.”, but waaaayyy sweeter.  She’s The Original Bader, Brittany Bader.  You can call her Brittany, O.B., or Bader but we call her the sweetest client we have.  She comes from great family stock.  Her dad is JB Bader, an awesome guy and a pretty good realtor for Keller Williams of North Georgia.  She’s also got these twin sister’s that are what we call, FoCo Famous.  We’ll just leave it at that.  Van met Brittany at Browns Bridge Community Church where they both serve as small group leaders in the high school ministry, InsideOut.  Brittany teaches special needs students in the Fulton County school district and has a huge heart for serving the Lord in Kenya.  We are so glad she gave us some time on her way down to the see the Braves play.  Thanks OB!

Sweetest Client Ever!!

Finally, we got to video an up and coming group of musicians.  The Hot Hearts are definitely friends of ours as they talk about us as much as we try to talk about them.  They are comprised of Michael and Dee Dee Westbrook.  A husband and wife team that we love to have drop by the office because they are so darn fun to have around.  If you haven’t heard them sing before, they play all over this great city of ours.  Here’s a link to their Facebook Page that will have all their info on where they’re playing as well a way to listen to them online…for free…for now.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped out today.  We can’t wait to get the finished product up for the world to see.  We’ll be using the videos in our recruiting process to help us find the best sales talent out there.

Thanks & God bless,

Van & The Team

Alisha – April 1

My best friend and I had went to the Starbucks off Hamilton mill and a very kind person ahead of me paid for my coffee and had left me a card. I believe in doing good for others and loved the idea so much I paid for the persons behind me. I am wondering why it says Forsyth county on it [the card] though. In times such as this shouldn’t it just be a heart felt thing.: ) just an idea I would love cards to give with kind things so maybe more people can feel better.  I think it’s an amazing idea. Blessing to all.

Savannah – March 29

I was so inspired when I read about these great acts of kindness, and I thought I would share my experience with all of you! I decided that on my eighteenth birthday, it was my turn to pay it forward. I planned and executed eighteen random acts of kindness. I traveled all around my community, serving others where I saw a need, my spirit rewarded with every act. The incredible emotions associated with serving other people are greater than I imagined possible. I feel as though helping others achieve their dreams and sense of self-worth will catapult my own life to its highest aspirations! Thank you Van for everything you are doing! :)

Sharing the Love – Keeping the “Social” in Social Networking

We love loving on our clients.  We love being social on-line.  We thought we should combine the two.

When we saw that our favorite local doughnut shop Dutch Monkey Doughnuts added a pre-order link to their Menu page by sharing the new link on their Facebook page, we wanted to share the love.  We asked our clients to “Share” Dutch Monkey’s link to their individual Facebook walls and decided that we would deliver custom orders to the first 10 that shared the link.

As a business, we would love for all off our followers to Share what we post.  I’m sure the businesses that we follow would love for us to share more than we do.  It got us wondering, what motivates people to click the Share button on Facebook? Or the Retweet button on Twitter?  Isn’t that the whole point of Networking Socially?  If you support/follow a business, the easiest thing you can do is share their posts or Tweets to help them grow.

Or Share their latest Blog Post! (Cough! Cough! Hint! Hint!)

Tell us in the comment section below about the businesses that you follow that do a great job of posting great content.
